Anglia Fire provides free surveys for your minimum and optimum needs whether this be a single extinguisher or an integrated alarm and detection system. Surveys are undertaken without any obligation on your part and in consultation with yourselves for your specific needs. We will also provide free quotations for your options.
Following a survey if your need an electrical based system for lighting, detection or suppression our in-house planning and design team will produce detailed plans and circuit diagrams together with a work schedule to fit around your business.
Extinguishers, equipment and signage are installed at the appropriate points, where wall fixing are inappropriate we can provide floor stands to comply with current requirements. All new extinguishers come with a 5 year guarantee.
For Alarm and Detection Systems we use a dedicated workforce including one prime subcontractor, who has worked with us for many years, should we require additional manpower. We will keep inconvenience to you down to a minimum and if necessary work out of hours.
Planned Maintenance
The health and safety executive require all extinguishers to be serviced on at least an annual basis. We will run your diary schedule for you and contact you at the appropriate time to arrange maintenance visits. Maintenance will range from condition examinations, discharge and recharging, new replacement.
You may wish us to undertake some of your fire training at the same time as the service in which case your staff can discharge the extinguisher in live training.
For Alarm, Detection and Nurse Call Systems we will agree with you from the onset a maintenance schedule dependent on the equipment and use. Fire Alarm systems themselves require maintenance at least twice per year under Health and Safety regulations. We can manage your systems for you in order that you discharge your responsibilities correctly.
Responsive Maintenance
As part of our service we also offer responsive maintenance for repairs and amendments to systems and equipment, for example if a fire extinguisher is set-off or its seal broken. Our engineers carry sufficient stock to respond promptly and can service most requests without having to order replacements or parts first.
The company provides a 24 hour comprehensive call out service guaranteeing a response within two hours from receipt of call 24 hours a day 365(6) days a year.
All of our Alarm Engineers are fully qualified to the highest standard and experienced in all types of equipment both Analogue and Conventional including manufacturers such as Apollo, Gents, Menvier / JSB, Hochiki, Nittan, Morley, Advanced Electronics and many more.
We supply both trade and end users with fire extinguishers and equipment. In particular local taxi firms and couriers purchase vehicle extinguishers direct from us.
